Arri Master Anamorphic Lenses
The Master Anamorphic series, a range of nine high-performance prime lenses, represents a significant step forward in the echnology and practicality of anamorphic cinematography for 35 ormat digital and film cameras.
A perfect combination of compact size, minimal weight, very high speed and exceptional optical design with minimal distortion has been achieved in a set of anamorphics. With beautiful out of-focus backgrounds and a smooth, cinematic look, the Master Anamorphic lenses are as fast and easy to use on set as other modern cine lenses.
The Master Anamorphic Lenses have been co-developed by ARRI and ZEISS, are manufactured by ZEISS.

Anamorphic Features in a Compact Form
Each Mercury lens provides the oval bokeh, pleasant barrel distortion, and shallow depth of field of the Atlas Orion 2x anamorphic primes but in a housing that is about half the size and weight of most pro anamorphic primes. The more compact size reduces fatigue and enables you to get closer to the action.

Designed by cinematographers for professional videographers, the Mercury 72mm T2.2 1.5x Anamorphic Prime Lens is part of the compact and lightweight Mercury Series from Atlas Lens Co. This series offers native full-frame coverage, enhanced bokeh, near-zero chromatic aberration, and a buttery vintage look that is warmer than that of the Orion series. The ARRI PL-mount Mercury series includes 36, 42, and 72mm primes plus 54 and 95mm and one telephoto focal length still in the pipeline.

The Anamorphic /i lenses offer superb optical and mechanical performance. Distortion, veiling glare, flares, and all aberrations are controlled at all apertures over the whole field of view. Like our S4/, 5/i and miniS4/ prime lenses, the cam focus mechanism allows for smooth focus adjustments.
