Designed for full-frame camera sensors, the Laowa Sword 35mm T2.9 1x Macro Cine Lens from Venus Optics captures ultra-sharp macro footage with compatible ARRI PL cameras. The 35mm lens features a T2.9 to T22 aperture range and is constructed of 13 elements in 10 groups. Create a shallow depth of field and dreamy bokeh with the 13-blade iris. This focal length has a 1x magnification ratio and a 7″ minimum focus distance for detailed close-ups.

The Sword series is engineered with improved chromatic aberration control to prevent color fringing while maintaining sharp and vibrant images. The focus ring rotates 270°, and the iris ring 59° for intuitive manual adjustments. A 63° angle of view ensures your subject remains in the frame. Like most of the series, the 35mm version has an 80mm outer diameter and 77mm filter thread for use with compatible matte boxes and filters. Cine-standard gearing on the lens and separately available interchangeable mounts provide wide compatibility with cameras and accessories.
