Ultra Con
The Ultra Contrast Filter can be applied to purposely reduce contrast while photographing an image or while recording video. By distributing ambient illumination to darker areas within a scene, this filter is useful in helping to uniformly balance the tonal range among highlights and shadows. Detail is increased within shadow regions while flare and halation around highlights is purposely limited.

White Pro Mist / Pro Mist
The Tiffen Pro Mist filters were originally designed for the TV and Motion Picture industry but are now available to all videographers. The White Pro Mist Offers all the benefits of the Pro-Mist filter in a more subtle form, with highlight flares that are controlled, and contrast is lowered but with less lightening of shadows for a more delicate effect. This creates a soft light “pastel” effect.
